1. STUMPED

I am currently enamored with the writings of Ryan Holiday. I was all-in on one of his concepts/books, The Obstacle is the Way, until I played golf….

In case you are wondering—YES, I hit the tree and NO, I didn’t score well on this hole.

2. Eyebrow Raise

Once upon a time, I visited a friend in Northern Minnesota. I asked to use the restroom and was told that it was just down the hall. I couldn’t help but take pause at the “artwork” at the end of their hall.

Perhaps I’ve read one too many Lucas Davenport (by John Sandford) books—some of them taking place in Northern Minnesota—because I seriously questioned if I was going to make it out of my friend’s house alive.

3. On Edge

I survived the above scare—my friends let me go in peace—but came home to concerning alerts from our newly installed Ring camera:

4. Green Thumb

I never thought of myself as someone with a GREEN THUMB until I re-painted the Master Bathroom:

5. May You Never…

…have to break down and dispose of a 7 person hot tub!

I’m not one to call someone a B!+CH but that was a B!+CH!

6. A.K.A. Quail Eggs

A friend at work brought me quail eggs and I had enough to share.

I ran into my neighbor’s husband at the grocery store and told him I was going to bring them a dozen quail eggs when I got home.

An hour later, I rang their doorbell and their conversation went like this:

Wife: Who’s at the door?

Husband: Quail Eggs

And now they call me Quail Eggs. 🤣🪺

Eggs in picture are smaller than they appear.
