Trust is tricky.
Trusting oneself is a certainty;
for even uncertainty is an answer.
Trusting another is unknowable;
for only they can know.
Their boundaries are theirs to hold;
their character, theirs to keep.
Mine is only to know my own—
and live accordingly.
