  • In prep for the start of this book and a six week block focused on my physical well-being, I needed to take an initial stock via before photos, an Insanity fitness test and Renpho smart scale readings. The following takeaway is significant enough to pass along – regular lifting increases muscular endurance!
    • I have Insanity fitness test results dating back to 2010 (age 30). I took the average reps over the course of 15 years and compared it to yesterday’s (age 46) results:
Exercise 1131112-15%
Exercise 24640-14%
Exercise 39598+3%
Exercise 44466+49%
Exercise 51216+28%
Exercise 62023+14%
Exercise 72122+5%
Exercise 87988+12%
AVERAGE+10%

Spanish -> Swedish -> Finnish

Maybe I’ll finish that which I started this time around? And then find my way to Finland?

  • And when I get there, I need to winter swim. The author references another book, Hyinen Hurmio, which translates to Glacial Ecstasy.
    • And this title is exactly what sent me over the top when it comes to wanting to try the practice.

I also need to finish the book itself in the next 33 hours because it is the 25th book for this mission.

  • Shortly after deciding that I need to find time to visit Finland, I was on Zwift and the first event listed was a Ride with Club Finland experience. Naturally, I needed to join and will use the Zwift Companion app to try and communicate in the months to come and/or make friends that would take me winter swimming!
  • Eric and I needed to watch Land of Bad during our holiday staycation because we got suspense, scenery, humor (Reaper: How do you know if someone is vegan?) and a magnified sense of respect for technology and our men and women that serve.
    • And more specific to me, because “Playboy” would be the centerfold if Playboy Magazine were for women.

I need you to know that I was vegan for 6 months, and respect veganism (or simply personal choice), and still found the joke funny because I have been the punchline. #ifyoucan’tlaughatyourself

  • This also made me laugh, but in passing it along, I need you to know that my laughter comes 💯 from the standpoint of wordplay. If you are offended, please accept my genuine apology and note that I’m merely a middlewoman:
  • You need to see, and hear, one of my Christmas gifts (thank you Em❤️) in action:
  • I needed to find these products / product lines given the added practice of loose leaf tea drinking (per Dr. Weil‘s advice):
    • Vahdam Tea
      • I know that the introductory letter that was sent with their tea is marketing, but it didn’t feel like marketing; this sucker 🙋‍♀️ is sold on the company! #authenticity
    • Teaze Tea Infuser
      • Like the typewriter above, this might as well be a toy for grown ups.
You need to know that Teaze does not suspend itself in the air (as pictured), but does have a nifty dispenser!

Brain Teaser Legit Inquiry: Why can’t we all just get oolong?

  • I needed to hear this quote as added perspective when perspective may be needed:
If it's hysterical, it's historical. 🧐
  • My husband needed new indoor tennis courts for Christmas because I didn’t get him much else (nor could much else that I may have gotten him have made him as happy):

I appreciate your readership; I need the validation as writer. 😉

Sincerely,

K.J. Sculling
