• I just had a birthday so I needed to read Dr. Andrew Weil’s comparison of aging to “in the case of whiskey, aging smooths out rough and raw tastes, adds appealing aromas and flavors and then concentrates them. In other words, it diminishes undesirable qualities and adds desirable ones, making the product more valuable.”

• One more tidbit from Dr. Weil, or his mother actually, that we all need to remember:

“No matter what happens to you in life, never lose your sense of humor.”

• I need the three dogs that we have in our life (and for them to assist me in my writing efforts), but ideally, for one of those dogs to not have regular flatulence that causes herself to leave the room after passing it.

• If I’m being honest and because I’m over the hill, upon receiving a note to accept collab on Instagram, I needed to look up “how to accept collaboration on Instagram” to ensure that I social media’ed correctly. #ifyoucan’tlaughatyourself (see Dr. Weil’s Mom’s advice above)

• I needed to ponder the concept of change in people.
  • But, you need to take this with a grain of salt🧂because, although I believe it true for me, it may not be for you:

• My friends know that they needn’t buy my love, but it never hurts either. 🤣 I am beyond grateful for the overly generous birthday gift that also happens to be a shining star example of the attentiveness factor!
  • When one sends you a pop up hammock in December, another acquires additional seating for company in their foyer:

• I needed for my daughter to have a friend that knows her to a tee also; she gifted Em this Lego Camera. 📸☺️ #whydidn’tithinkofthat

• As I research physical well-being, and come across vegetable dishes that make me drool, I need to squelch the desire to go to culinary school (for now 🤫).

• I need to wrap up here because I still have more than 10 hours of Stranger Things to watch.
