Mission:
Rid our house of 10 items daily through March 14th.
Wellness Why(s):
Primary:
Environmental
Subsidiary:
Emotional—The clearing of physical clutter is a proven means to a clearer mind.
The Nuts & Bolts:
Though our deep dive focus into Environmental Well-Being does not begin until March 15th per this mission, it would be helpful to get a head start on the clutter. And to do so in increments given the size of the project.
5.5 weeks until March 15th at a rate of 70 items per week will make for a total of 390 items removed before the overhaul. And we’re going to round that up to the nice even number of 400.
As evidence of a job that is underway—here is a photo of today’s load of worthless, no good, rotten, pile of crap, rubbish* that was taking up space in our home:

* Items of more than marginal value will be responsibly discarded, donated, etc. because what is our crap may be someone else’s treasure and this goes both ways, but I don’t want your crap / my treasure for the time being.
Last, but not least, a Special Mention goes out to my friend, Shannon, for the gifted pickleball paddle in the above picture. It was my first born 🥲 high level paddle that I’ve kept around as a sentimental reminder, but the memory and gratitude remains stored, and if it can be someone else’s first-born entry into the sport, I want it to have that life. And she (and Mike, to his dismay) know that I’d probably still be using it if it didn’t rattle like a maraca.
