Mission:

Create and maintain an inviting space of my own.

Wellness Why(s):

Primary:

Emotional, Intellectual, Occupational, Environmental, Spiritual, Financial (our finances will be part managed from this space)

Secondary:

Social: The room has been activated and in use for only a week now and the dogs and Em have already connected with me in my space Lu and I’s space.

The Nuts & Bolts:

As you can see from the before pictures, our front bedroom WAS being used as my closet, the home of our guinea pig, the space for all things that didn’t have a place elsewhere in the house, Em’s decluttered items, paperwork, magazines, towels, shoes, etc.

The space is now sanctuary enough for me and shall serve as my Knock Before Entering space (or more likely, because it’s more in line with who I am, my Open Door Policy space).

Over time, I will declutter some more, re-decorate and likely, re-paint. And the guinea pig needed to stay for now, but at some point, will pass on to the afterlife. In the meantime, I shall provide it a better life than it has had and perhaps work towards the fate of this guinea pig as the star of a children’s book by K.J. Sculling?!?
