* The below article is for the purpose of my own personal journey towards wellness. The information should not be considered medical advice or even, a recommended prescribed way for you.

Mission:

Figure out the ideal E.V.S. routine for myself and ๐Ÿ’ to it!

Wellness Why(s):

Primary: Physical

Subsidiary: My best physical self is more capable of tackling every other dimension of wellness and thus – intellectual, financial, social, occupational, spiritual, emotional and environmental.

The Nuts & Bolts:

My hydration goal of 66+ ounces of water per day is underway. Your intake probably needs to be higher IF your actual size is closer to KJ-Tron (pictured above) than my actual size (๐Ÿฉณ), but again, this isn’t an Rx for you.

Additionally, I’ve been using a homemade electrolyte mix for months now and believe it a necessity at this point. One serving on minimally active days. Two servings or more when I set the panel for hyperactive mode.

Lemon (or Lime)

1 serving of protein powder daily (I prefer the Vega line or a 100% whey protein product because of the simplistic ingredient lists). 2 servings on a lift day and within 30 minutes of lifting.

1 serving of collagen daily (I prefer Primal Kitchen – side note that their original and hot buffalo sauce is fantastic and ๐Ÿ’ฏ clean).

Vitamins: Multivitamin (for my gender/age), Iron (low dose and because I’m in perimenopause), Vitamin C (to enhance absorption of the iron and for general immunity), Calcium, Vitamin D3+K2, Magnesium (glycinate or malate and 300-400 mg at night), Omega-3, Probiotic, BCAA Powder

Vitamin D via daily time under the โ˜€๏ธ.

1 apple a day (which reminds me of an Emmieism said when she was 6):

1 banana a day on a weight training day (30-60 minutes prior and combined with a bit of protein).

And finally, I’m looking to add creatine per the advice of some of the brightest minds that I’ve encountered in my years. Research underway.

Addendum (10/16/25): A brilliant minded friend of mine did the research for me and recommends this cost conscious creatine. AND, my own research indicates that:
